Getting to the Farm Progress Show

Arriving by Ground
Centrally positioned within the state, the Farm Progress Show site can
easily be reached from north, south, east and west. From the north and
south, the site is just 15 minutes from Interstate 35 and conveniently
located on the north side of US Highway 30 between Ames and Boone, IA.

Farm Progress Show
From the North:
Take Interstate 35 south to Exit
111. Take U.S. 30 west to Iowa
Highway 17 exit. Continue north on
Iowa Highway 17 to the visitor
parking area.
From the West:
Take Interstate 80 east to
Interstate 35. Take Interstate
35 north to Exit 111. Take U.S.
30 west to Iowa Highway 17 Exit.
Continue north on Iowa Highway 17 to the visitor parking
area.
Locally,
take U.S. 30 east to Iowa
Highway 17 Exit;
and then north on Iowa Highway 17 to the visitor parking
area.
From the South:
Take Interstate 35 north to Exit
111. Take U.S. 30 west to Iowa

From the East:

Commercial Air Transportation
Commercial air transportation is less than an hour away at the
Des Moines International Airport.
The airport provides non-stop service from many major cities around the
United States. Shuttle services to Ames and Boone are available at the
airport. Car rental
service is also available onsite.
For corporate fleets, charters and small private aircraft
The
Boone Municipal Airport, operated
by CY Aviation and
Ames Municipal Airport, operated by
Hap's Air Service are both within a 10 minute drive from the Farm
Progress Show site.
Shuttle Services to the 2010 Farm Progress Show
From the Boone Municipal Airport
Complimentary shuttles from the
Boone Municipal Airport to the
Farm Progress Show site will be available during the show. Shuttles
will run from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday and from 7 a.m. to 5
p.m. on Thursday. Advance
reservations are not necessary.
From the Ames Municipal Airport
Complimentary shuttles from the Ames
Municipal Airport to the
Farm Progress Show site will be available each morning during the show.
Advance reservations are not necessary for groups smaller than 10 people.
For groups of 10 or more, please call the Ames Convention & Visitors Bureau
at 515.232.4032 to make shuttle arrangements.
NEW for 2010... A Shuttle from Des Moines to the Farm Progress Show
Shuttle transportation from Des Moines will be available Tuesday - Thursday, during the Farm Progress Show for a reasonable fee.
The Des Moines shuttle stop will be at the Quality Inn and Suites Event Center (929 3rd Ave) in downtown Des Moines. The shuttle will leave for the Farm Progress Show three times each day and will have four return trips to the hotel from the Show each day.
